2. Payments to us

a.     Donations

i.    General terms

Donations to the Human Rights Law Centre of $2 or more are tax-deductible.

It is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient clear funds available in your account. The Human Rights Law Centre shall not be liable for any loss or bank fees resulting from insufficient funds in your account.

You should check your account statement to verify that the amounts debited from your account are correct. If you believe that there has been an error with your donation, you should notify us directly by phone at 03 8636 4450 and confirm that notice in writing or by email at admin@hrlc.org.au as soon as possible so that we can resolve your query quickly.

ii.    Recurring donations

Recurring donations are tax deductible and will be receipted at the end of the financial year.

To cancel or alter a future recurring donation, you must make your request in writing by email to admin@hrlc.org.au at least 2 working days before the donation is due to be deducted from your bank account.

iii.    Refunds for donations

Refunds for donations are offered only in special circumstances in accordance with our Refund Policy.

b.    Ticket purchases

i.    Refunds

Refunds for ticket purchases are offered in accordance with our Refund Policy.

ii.    Changes to tickets

Requests to change guest names, dietary requirements and other special requests relating to a ticket purchase will be accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed. Terms and Conditions of Purchase for individual event ticket sales will apply and will be available on the ticket purchase webpage.
