Prisoners’ Rights: Prisoners and the Right to Vote
Attached is a submission by the by the Human Rights Law Resource Centre Ltd (‘HRLRC’) to the Senate Finance and Public Administration Legislation Committee Inquiry into the Electoral and Referendum Amendment (Electoral Integrity and Other Measures) Bill 2005. The HRLRC aims to bring the influence of international human rights norms and principles to bear on domestic law and policy.

Joint submission against expansion of the Making Queensland Safer Act 2024
The Human Rights Law Centre and Change the Record have are strongly opposed to the Crisafulli Government's laws that will sentence even more children to adult-length terms of imprisonment. The laws will lock up children for even longer, and harm kids, families, and communities.
