Our Community Guidelines

The Human Rights Law Centre takes fearless human rights action for a fairer future for everyone.

We welcome respectful and constructive conversations on our social media channels – racism, sexism and all other forms of discrimination and hate speech will not be tolerated.

To maintain a safe and inclusive space, comments may be hidden or deleted if they:

  • use abusive, offensive, defamatory, or unlawful language; or
  • contain racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, or sexually explicit language or content; or
  • target specific individuals with hateful or defamatory comments; or
  • spread misinformation or conspiracy theories; or
  • include spam or irrelevant material.

Comments that include personal or sensitive information that could compromise privacy or safety may be hidden or deleted.

We reserve the right to block users who repeatedly breach these guidelines.

Please note our social media pages are not managed full time and we will do our best to respond to comments as efficiently as possible.
