How to Make an Entry in the Register

Making an entry in the register is quick and easy and will only take a couple of minutes.

An entry can be made by completing this online form. Entries can be made at any time throughout the year.

It is vital that entries in the Australian Human Rights Register are accurate, verifiable, de-identified and that entries draw on direct, personal observations and experiences on the ground. An entry may include case histories, as experienced by an individual or group, or a shift in policy/legislation or administration which reflects on a positive or negative development in human rights.

Entries should describe both positive and negative developments in human rights.  The sharing of negative experiences will assist to highlight gaps in human rights protection, while the positive experiences will demonstrate where developments are being made.
